1. Software Licensing & Apple Terms

All applications and games distributed by playbop are licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to each product is subject to your prior acceptance of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), unless accompanied by a custom license agreement provided by playbop. You agree to comply with all applicable terms of the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software code, visual artwork, character designs, gameplay mechanics, animations, logos, audio assets, and trademarks associated with playbop and its titles are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of playbop (operating as a sole trader based in Scotland, United Kingdom). You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, modify, or redistribute our software without explicit written permission.

3. In-App Purchases & Billing

Certain features, premium upgrades, or downloadable content across our macOS applications and iOS games may require paid transactions. All financial transactions, billing, payments, and in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. through your Apple ID account.

Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund guidelines via reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Acceptable Use & Game Conduct

When using our applications, games, or community channels, you agree not to exploit glitches, use unauthorized third-party cheats or automation software, interfere with game balance, or disrupt services for other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to online game features for users who violate these rules.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website, applications, and games are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. playbop does not guarantee that software operations will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future operating system versions without requiring software updates.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, playbop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, device malfunction, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use our applications or games.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes, claims, or actions arising out of or related to our products, website, or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland (Scots law). You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
